Based in Allowenshay, Hinton St George, Somerset, Rachel offers warm, one-to-one lessons in piano, singing, and violin, tailored to your goals, style, and pace. With over 25 years’ experience as both a classroom teacher and private tutor, Rachel creates a space where confidence, creativity, and joy can thrive.

Singing lessons

Build your voice, confidence, and musical expression with vocal coaching that includes technique, performance skills, and a wide range of repertoire, from classical to contemporary.

Piano lessons

Learn to read music, play with expression, and explore everything from Bach to The Beatles. Piano lessons are supportive, structured, and filled with the joy of discovery.

Violin lessons

Master the technique and artistry of violin playing in a fun, encouraging environment. Learn at your own pace and see tangible progress every step of the way.

Whether you’re 7 or 70, just starting out or polishing years of experience, Rachel will meet you where you are. Lessons are individually tailored to suit your personality, learning style, and musical ambitions.

Music Theory Included

Rachel weaves music theory naturally into lessons, helping you become a well-rounded and confident musician. Want to take exams? That’s supported too, with guidance on the best exam boards to suit your style.

Fees

All lessons are charged at £35 per hour (or £17.50 for half an hour). Fees are for 2025 and will are subject to annual increase.
